Walser CDJR Hopkins’ Winter Community Recap
Winter in Minnesota means one thing above all else: hockey. As the season wraps up and spring arrives in the Twin Cities, Walser Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is reflecting on a winter spent investing in the communities that drive us, literally and figuratively. From rinkside sponsorships to family-focused activations, here’s how we showed up this season.

The Teddy Bear Toss: community on ice
Few moments in a hockey rink carry the energy of a Teddy Bear Toss. This winter, Walser CDJR was proud to be part of it. Every goal scored sent a wave of stuffed animals onto the ice, bears collected and donated to local families in need. It’s loud, it’s joyful, and it means something real to the people in those stands.
At Walser, we believe a dealership should be part of the neighborhood it serves. Events like the Teddy Bear Toss are how that belief becomes action.

Tournament sponsorships and the Walser Invitational
The Walser Invitational brought competitive youth hockey together under one roof, and Walser CDJR was there for it. Rink glass branding, in-arena presence, and direct event sponsorship put our name in front of the families and players who represent the backbone of Minnesota hockey culture.
We don’t view these sponsorships as advertising. We view them as membership, a commitment to the communities where our customers live, work, and spend their weekends.
Edina Hockey and metro-wide rink partnerships
Our partnership with Edina Hockey extended our reach across the metro, connecting the Walser name to one of the most storied programs in the state. Alongside activations at rinks throughout the Twin Cities, including contributions from our sister store Walser Polar Chevrolet in White Bear Lake, the Walser family of dealerships made its presence felt across the full State of Hockey footprint.
Whether you’re in Hopkins, Minneapolis, Burnsville, or Roseville, the Walser standard is the same: show up, follow through, and put the community first.
The Walser Way, applied off the lot
The same philosophy behind our upfront pricing, hourly-paid staff, and no-negotiation buying process is what drives our community work. We pay our people to serve honestly, not to close deals. We price vehicles transparently, not to win a negotiation. And we invest in our communities not for optics, but because it’s the right call.
As spring arrives and the ice melts, that commitment doesn’t. Thanks to every family, player, and fan who made this winter worth celebrating. We’ll see you next season, and we’ll be at the rink.
